What is A heart attack?

A heart attack is when the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart are blocked, preventing enough oxygen from getting to the heart. If the blood flow is blocked the heart is starved of oxygen and the heart cells die. 

What are the causes of a heart attack? 

Most heart attacks are caused by a blood clot that blocks one of the coronary arteries. When the blood stop flowing to part of your heart that's when a heart attack will happen. 

How to prevent heart attack? 

To prevent a heart attack you could exercise daily or do and type of physical activity. Keep you blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol under control. Keep your diet preferably healthy, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and low in heath. One important thing that can help prevent a heart attack is not to smoke. Smoking can cause higher the risk of you getting a heart attacks.

Symptoms

One major symptoms of a heart attack is chest pain. The pain can move form your chest to your arms, shoulders, neck teeth, jaw belly area and back. The paint level vary from severe to mild, it feels like a tight bond around your chest, pressure, or bad indigestion. The pain usually last about 20 minutes or longer.  Symptoms can go away and come back. 

Treatment

Is someone had a heart attack, they would need to go most likely stay in a hospital. They would be connected to an ECG machine where doctors can look at how they heart is beating. Nitroglycerin is the medication for a heart attack, use to treat pain and help improve the blood flow to the heart.
