I wonder if the earth is flat or round?

After doing some research, I have found out/learnt that the earth may seem round but when viewed from space, our planet is actually a bumpy spheroid.

Our globe, however, is not even a perfect oblate spheroid, because mass is distributed unevenly within the planet. The greater a concentration of mass is, the stronger its gravitational pull, "creating bumps around the globe.

  1. From your blog post I have learned that the earth was a bumpy speroid, I did not know that. I also learned that the gravity around the earth creates the bumps around the globe causing it to not be a perfect Sphere/spheroid.

I wonder if there are any other earths in other galaxies.
