Health-Resilience

Resilience

I learnt that resilience means to, be able to recover from step backs, never to give up, and to keep trying no matter how difficult or tough your situation might be. Resilience is important in many different ways because resilience helps you to maintain balance during difficult times in your life. It also is important because it can prevent you from developing any mental health difficulties and harming you well being.

Relaxing

I learnt that relaxing is important, not only for you but your body and mental health. Relaxing is important because it can help you calm down any stress or anxiety you may have, clearing your mind of any negative thoughts, and also help with relieving any mental health thoughts you may be thinking of. Ways of relaxing are, lying down with no noise in silence just focusing on your breathing and surroundings. I can use this method of relaxing in life by, doing these steps before an exam and also by if I am stress out or angry.

Empathy

I learnt that empathy is to have an understanding of what one may be feeling. Empathy means to know what another is feeling and going through in life or in present moment. Empathy has many benefits and is important in a number of ways. Being empathic can help you reduce stress, trust, healing, personal growth and have a nourishing bond with others. Being emphatic can help me if life by know ones felling when they are in a stressful situation. You know how that other is feeling, therefore, you can help them cope with what they are dealing with.

Mindfulness

I learnt that mindfulness means to pay attention, taking the time to notice the things around you, and being mindful of your language. Mindfulness is important because it can maintain the quality between you and another i.e. with friends. Mindfulness is also important because it can improve your thought process, feelings and concerns not just for others but yourself. I think mindfulness would be a really good skill to have later in life as I grown up. It could help me think positive, to forgive and to connect with another.

Body clues

I learnt that body clues is where your body responds to a certain emotion you may be feeling. Body clues pay a big part in one's daily life. Body clues are important because it can show how you are feeling and how other think your feeling. Your facial expressions play a big role in this because it can show other if you happy, sad, angry etc. In life, I can use body clues to show others how I am feeling. I also need to make sure to not use verbal language or have an attitude towards people who may want to know how I'm feeling.
