Observations of a burning candle.

   My Observations

  • The heat from the flame melts the wax below
  • You can see through the melted wax
  • The tip of the wick has a red glow
  • The wax is melting
  • It turns from a solid to a liquid
  • The flame is orange
  • The wick is turning black
  • The flame is a raindrop shape
  • The flame is not touching the wax
  • The flame only touches the wick
  • There is no smoke
  • It moves with movement in the air
  • The flame has a little bit of blue
